The idea is to make connection between the global and local; from there, you can ask what "global" (Positive? Alternative?).
Give the center an international dimension in connection with the prospects and local specificities.
Example: hold conferences with international actors, in consultation with local actors previously; organize a meeting with local actors about the conclusion of this conference and valid ideas for territory.
- Complementarity with what already exists
It is important that C.A.R.M.E.N.’s initiatives are additional and enrich what already exists.

The idea would be to make a diagnosis with the following questions:
- What kind ?
- With what methodology??
- With what objectives?
- To transfer what??
- To build what??
- To develop what?
- To find what?
- With who?
- Where?
The diagnosis can be made around a structural project with the objective of helping those already operates to be participatory.
To develop things, we must use all means and identify, discover and value the potencial that is in the territory.
There are several examples of participatory methods to explore: Market-place, World-coffee.
The interest of local is to receive, give, explain and transmit information.
The idea of multiple place is interesting to stay "global" (learning place - indoor and outdoor; change space; space structure of interest, micro-local, ...).
Conclusion of the meeting
In conclusion, the function of C.A.R.M.E.N. could:
- Be a space for exchange and free expression, a kind of "think laboratory" and initiatives.
- Be a space for reflection about territory.
- Act and contribute to the distribution, multiplication of ideas and solutions.
- Connect local with international, in terms of diagnostic, issues and solutions, think and act in change.
- be a space for lounge, meetings, theater, exhibitions; as well as a space for business meetings, researchers, etc.
The group consisting agree on the interest in continuing reflecting on this meeting and to make another meeting to advance in structuring a strategy.
