The physical place of multiservices Center, as well as the cottage, “Gotas de Luar”, will be by itself a demonstration center for sustainable development, particularly in terms of:

Energy, using only renewable energy (solar and wind).
preserving biodiversity.
supply of the Center (biological/natural products purchased from small local producers).
waste treatment.

The construction of the building C.A.R.M.E.N. and even Gotas de Luar was made in rammed earth (taipa) and the floor of C.A.R.M.E.N. Was built with marble remains from Vila Viçosa, where was created beautiful patterns and designs.
